Free Agency Client Christian Cunningham Named to the Iceland 1 First Teams

Free Agency client Christian Cunningham (6-7 PF NCAA Div. 1 Jacksonville State) has been named to the EuroBasket 1st Team for the Iceland 1 league. Cunningham averaged 22.0 points per game, 17.5 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and 1.9 steals this season for FSU Selfoss and Coach Chris Caird. He also had the highest player efficiency of any player in the league at 36.5. Cunningham had a great career at Jacksonville State under Coach Ray Harper. He was tops almost ever year in the Ohio Valley Conference in Field Goal %, Rebounds, and shot blocks. This past summer he was also impressive in the KPA Vegas Pro Summer League where he averaged 16.5ppg, 11.5rpg, and 3.0 blocks in 5 games in the event. He was also named to the KPA Vegas All League team. "Christian had a great year, but it did not surprise David and I at all. We could tell from our dealings with him during recruiting him and after meeting him in Vegas that he would have a great year. He dominated this year and got better every game. He has improved his overall game a great deal. He knocked down the perimeter jumper well this year and we feel Coach Caird really helped his game. He can run and jump with anyone in any league and his basketball skills are catching up with athleticism and this is making for an excellent player. He will help somone at a higher level next season and I feel he will have the same results.
