Troy Steward Signs with Mgzavrebi-Armia in Georgia Superleague

Free Agency Client Troy Steward has signed with Mgzavrebi-Armia in the Georgian Superleague. Steward played briefly last season for the Waverely Falcons (Australia) in the pre-season before the season was canceled due to COVID-19. He played college basketball at Georgetown College and won a NAIA National Championship in 2019. Troy was named to the NAIA All American teams in 2018 and 2019. Troy was also named to the All Mid-South Conference Team in 2017,2018, and 2019. Troy scored 2,036 points in his career at Georgetown. He played high school basketball at Fleming County High and captured two regional championships during his time there.

He came to our pro workout in April of 2019 and was named MVP and I was completely sold on him after the workout. The coaching staff of Mgzavrebi saw what we saw in him. He is a big guard who can do a variety of things and flat shoot the basketball with unlimited range. They were looking for a shooting guard and they found a good one in Troy Steward.
