PF Jacara Cross Signs with Free Agency Basketball
Free Agency Basketball is happy to announce the signing of 6-8 PF Jacara Cross. Cross played high school basketball at Lithonia High in Georgia and just finished up a great 4 year career at NCAA Division 1 Jacksonville State. This past season (19-20) he led the Jacksonville State Gamecocks with 12.7 points per game, 393 total points, 21 blocks, and a .611 field-goal percentage on 162 baskets. He was named to the All OVC Conference team. He scored double digits 20 times this past season. He scored a career high 25 points against Belmont on Feb. 1 2020. His 58.7 FG% ranks 5th all time in program history since they have been Division 1. He played 124 games in his 4 year career which is 2nd all time in program history (right behind another Free Agency Client Christian Cunningham).
"David Gonzalez (FIBA Agent/President of FA) and I are extremely excited to have Jacara join the family of Free Agency Basketball. I got to watch several of his games last year and he has a lot of potential at the pro level. He can score the ball well around basket and has a nice touch from the perimeter. Plus he has a pro body and can rebound the basketball on both ends of the floor. I have known his college coaches (Head Coach Ray Harper and Assistant Coach Tommy Wade) for years and I know he has been coached extremely well. Also, another client of ours Christian Cunningham (current pro in Luxembourg) played at JSU with Jacara and speaks very well of him" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Basketball Director of Scouting).
