6-7 Forward Charlie Cochran Signs with Free Agency Basketball

FREE AGENCY NEW CLIENT ALERT: 6-7 Forward Charlie Cochran has signed with Free Agency Basketball. Cochran just completed a great career at Maryville College (Tennessee). This past season he averaged 12.4 points and 6.8 rebounds. He also was named 2nd Team All Conference (Collegiate Conference of the South). He was also named to the CCS All Championship Tournament Team. He helped Maryville to the first Conference Tournament Championship in school history.

Prior to Maryville he was an all conference performer at East Texas Baptist College and averaged 14.9 and 7.1 rebounds in 2020-21. Cochran was an excellent high school player in Kentucky at Martha Layne Collins High School.

Cochran recently was a standout performer at the SBS/Free Agency Pro Exposure Workout held April 15th in Louisville, Kentucky.

"David Gonzalez (Free Agency President and FIBA Agent) and I are really happy to have Charlie with us. He is a very skilled big man. He is 6-7 230 and is very versatile because of his skill set. He can score on the block but also shoots the ball well from the 3pt. line. He has a really good understanding of the game of the basketball and really shows a great desire to play pro basketball. He has been well coached in college with Coach Raul Placeres and in high school with Coach Chris Gaither. We feel he can have a good career overseas because he can better and better and also has the character to do so" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
