6-7 PF Gilbert Thomas Signs with Free Agency Basketball

FIBA Agent David Gonzalez and Director of Scouting Michael Stinnett are happy to announce the signing of 6-7 PF Gilbert Thomas. Thomas completed his college eligibility in 2020 at the University of Louisiana at Shreveport. During the 2019-20 season he averaged 15.7ppg., 9.2rpg., 1.6 apg., and 1.3 blocks. He also shot 66.4% from the field. He was named to the NAIA All American team and was the most efficient player overall in NAIA basketball his senior season. Thomas was also named to the RRAC 1st Team All Conference Team.

He can score it from the post and perimeter offensively, and he is an excellent offensive rebounder. Defensively, he defends ball screens well and is a big time shot blocker. We feel he is a great pick up for the agency and look forward to getting him playing pro basketball this season" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
