Carson Newsome Signs in Argentina

6-7 Guard Carson Newsome has signed with Club Godoy Cruz in Mendoza, Argentina. Newsome was a standout at Graceland University in the 2021-22 season (20ppg and 4.8 rebounds). He recently played in the TBL and averaged 16.5 ppg and 6.1 rebounds. "David Gonzalez and I are excited for Carson. David watched him in Las Vegas and really liked his game. We worked with good friend Scott Mitchell in getting him placed and feel he will have a great season. He is very versatile for his size and can score the ball" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).
