Justin Miller Signs with Brumas de Jinotega in Nicaragua LSB League

Free Agency Client Justin Miller has signed his first professional contract with Brumas de Jinotega in the Nicaragua LSB. Miller played his last college season at NCAA Division 1 University of Detroit in 2019-20. He was the second leading scorer on the team at 10.3 points per game and 5.3 rebounds. The previous 3 seasons he played at NCAA Division 1 University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He scored 1200 points at the NCAA Division 1 level. In high school, he was named the Kentucky State Tournament MVP after leading the Owensboro Red Devils to the 2015 Kentucky State Championship.

"This is a great start for Justin. The LSB is really growing as a league and the competition is very good. His coach will be a former National team coach and really really likes Justin. Justin can the score the ball at a high level and uses his body well to rebound. Also he is a high IQ player and I really like his passing ability. Plus, him being from Owensboro and playing for my good friend in high school Coach Rod Drake really makes this special for me. David Gonzalez (FIBA Agent) and myself feel Justin is ready to get his career started in a good fashion" said Michael Stinnett (Free Agency Director of Scouting).

Miller arrived yesterday in Jinotega and practiced this morning. He will play his first game tonight and it will be against former Georgia Tech and NBA player Glen Rice Jr.
